Soil

$1,407

In the gardens we grow, soil is life itself. The darkest hue in the Terrain series, Soil represents the ingenious composition of nature and how it warps and wefts with time.

The pigment of this wool is entirely natural, born only from the sheep from which it was sheared. This is one style in a series of three made in collaboration with FRAMA.

The Details

Shades of Nature

The hue of this live heritage wool is 100% natural, born only from the High Atlas Mountain sheep from which it was sheared. With this comes organic variation in pigment, translated into a final result that is wholly unique.

Interwoven

With Terrain, the flat woven warp and weft of the wool is the art of the design, adding a depth of texture and a narrative of touch from the weaver's hand to your home.

Braided Tassels

Distinct and meaningful, the traditional braided tassels on each rug are seen to many as a symbol of life's ongoingness; that the story of the weaver is not yet complete.

Entirely Yours

You can expect slight variations of color and fiber in the rug that you receive. These are markers of a product made wholly by hand with each craftsperson’s touch interwoven into the final design. Final sizes can vary by up to 5% from the size ordered.
