Honest and idiosyncratic, Terrain offers three styles of undyed, flat woven Moroccan rugs that pay homage to the unadorned beauty of wool and landscape. It's the first collaboration between Beni x FRAMA.

Available in three organic variations — Soil, Sand, and Salt — each quiet colorway draws its pure pigment directly from the High Atlas Mountain sheep that was sheared to achieve it.
The autodidactic photographer Karl Blossfeldt said that “nature educates us into beauty and inwardness, and is a source of the most noble pleasure." From this sentiment, Terrain established its roots.
From the orphic architecture of a single seed pod to the ingenious design of a root system, this distilled collection pays homage to the unadorned beauty of Moroccan wool in its most sincere state.
Like a grain of sand grows into a desert, every rug first begins as a single loop of wool.
“The magic has always been the medium itself,’ says Beni co-founder Robert Wright, Thanks to the beautiful, minimalist, and timeless vision of FRAMA, this collection is a pure distillation of that idea; they have placed the raw beauty of Moroccan materiality on the pedestal it deserves.”
“There’s a quiet kind of grace that wool has in this unaltered state,” says Beni co-founder Tiberio Lobo-Navia.
On a near-cloudless day in the Agafay Desert, the three styles of Terrain were photographed and captured on film by James Stapleton.
