We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee all aspects of our shipping and logistics operations from our Moroccan facility. This role is integral to ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately, on time, and with exceptional care. The ideal candidate will have a background in logistics or supply chain management, strong problem-solving skills, and experience working with CRM and production software.

Key Responsibilities

Order Processing & Management

• Coordinate with sales production teams to ensure orders are accurately captured and tracked from production through to shipment.
• Manage the daily operations of the shipping and packing floor, including a team of 5-8.

Shipping Coordination

• Create, review, and verify shipping labels and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with international shipping requirements.
• Schedule and arrange pickups and deliveries with carriers, optimizing for cost and speed.
• Troubleshoot any shipping issues, coordinating with carriers and internal teams to resolve delivery issues efficiently.

System Integration & Maintenance

• Manage and optimize integrations between CRM, production software, and shipping platforms to streamline operations.
• Ensure data integrity within all systems, performing regular audits and updates as needed.

Inventory Coordination

• Maintain accurate records of finished goods and packaging materials inventory.
• Maintain inventory of our stocked rug as well as samples.
• Coordinate with supply chain and production teams to anticipate demand and ensure sufficient stock for smooth fulfillment.

Vendor Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping providers to ensure competitive rates, reliable service, and effective communication.
• Negotiate contracts with shipping vendors and explore cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.

Customer Service Support

• Act as the logistics point of contact for customer service teams, providing updates on order statuses, expected delivery dates, and troubleshooting issues.
• Handle escalated logistics-related customer inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.

Data & Performance Analysis

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, shipping floor efficiency, m2 shipped, shipping costs, and error rates to assess efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Generate reports on logistics metrics for leadership to inform decision-making and improve operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, or supply chain management.
• 3-4 years of experience in a logistics, supply chain, or operations role, preferably in an e-commerce or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, production software, and shipping platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with international shipping and customs regulations.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French or Arabic is a plus.
• Experience with inventory management and order fulfillment in a workshop or manufacturing setting.
